Purple are the Leading tribute to Deep Purple in the UK and most certainly the loudest!
The band is comprised of quality musicians who all have a mutual appreciation of classic rock and Deep Purple in particular.

Recreating the sights & sounds of Deep Purple faithfully & with superb confidence & skill. Paying close attention to the original versions but at the same time offering an energetic & vibrant delivery of classic songs such as Highway star, Burn & the show stopping Mistreated & Child in time. At Purple’s disposal are some of the greatest pieces of rock music ever written including perhaps the most recognizable riff known to man in the incomparable  ‘Smoke on the Water’.

A typical Purple set reflects the whole spectrum of Deep Purple, stretching from the first hit ‘Hush’ all the way back in 1968 to the surprise  reunion of the classic MK II lineup  in 1984.

Purple always include material from marks 1, II , III & indeed the often overlooked, flawed but superb MK IV line up, which featured the unique Tommy Bolin.

No matter which incarnation of Deep Purple you prefer, be it the original

MK 1  line up ( Rod Evans & Nick Simper),  MK II (Ian Gillan & Roger Glover)

Mark’s III & IV (Glenn Hughes , David Coverdale & Tommy Bolin) With Purple you will be left breathless at the sheer  audacious quality that was Deep purple in full flight.

In Purple’s hands, the heritage is safe & that phenomenally bold music is still a joy to hear played with the power that was intended when it was written. Classic rock deserves a classic & genuine tribute, one that is powerful, emotive & uplifting. Purple are that classic, ultimate, tribute.

 Just  remember,

THE REAL THING CAN’T BE IN TOWN EVERY NIGHT

 can they.

Long live rock and roll.
